What I do

I help ServiceNow teams turn the CMDB from something people question into something the business can rely on.The CMDB is at the heart of ServiceNow. CSDM gives it structure. ITOM, incident, change, asset management, service modelling, reporting, and strategic decision-making all depend on the quality of the data underneath them.When that data cannot be trusted, the impact is felt everywhere. Incidents take longer to resolve. Outages are harder to understand. Changes carry more risk. Teams spend their time working around the platform instead of getting value from it.I specialise in helping organisations break out of that cycle.I start by understanding both sides of the problem: the business outcomes you need and the technical reality of your ServiceNow instance. From there, I assess your CMDB, CSDM alignment, ITOM data sources, integrations, governance, and ways of working, then build a practical route from where you are today to where the platform needs to be.That might mean stabilising a heavily customised environment, designing a new data model, aligning to CSDM, improving discovery and service mapping, building governance that actually works, or helping your teams understand how to keep the CMDB healthy long after the project ends.My role is to bridge the gap between business and technology. NFU Mutual needed a clean, reliable, and trustworthy CMDB, but had years of customisations and integrations feeding poor-quality data into the platform.I mapped the route out of the complexity and guided the team towards a best-in-class environment with cleaner data, more trustworthy integrations, a reliable ITAM experience, and governance designed to keep it that way.

US Bank had the drive to adopt CSDM, but was held back by the data structures of a decade-old environment.I developed the strategy for aligning to CSDM 5 and supported the team in adopting it properly. Through training sessions, guided workshops and practice models, I helped the team build the understanding needed to execute the alignment plan independently.
Deutsche Bank was moving to a greenfield ServiceNow instance and wanted to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past.I designed the data model for foundation data, CMDB, and CSDM; defined the governance processes needed to protect it; and developed solutions for data sourcing and integrations.

PNC Bank undertook a major transformation programme driven by changing regulation and the need for a reliable CMDB with accurate service models.I developed a scalable process for migrating to CSDM, provided architectural expertise to support the leadership team, and created a framework for ITOM teams to populate the CMDB in a structured and sustainable way.
